Cristobal began his career in advertising and graduated to the motion picture industry. He has collaborated for over a decade with Veneno, Inc. to create visuals for World Tour concerts of artists such as Madonna, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Celine Dion, & Christina Aguilera, among others.

Instead, he reminds the art-world that truly visionary ideas can be born from the waste of others and that human expression can manifest in extraordinary ways from the most basic of materials. 

Cristobal Valecillos' work engages the use of non-traditional materials such as raw cardboard and paper. According to the artist this is born from a desire to create art without generating waste.  By recycling paper products to build elaborate sets and costumes,  he gives these materials a second chance to come alive as something greater than their intended purpose.

The Gallery displays the photographs that result from constructing his paper-doll worlds inform his viewers that fashion does not have to play into ideas of over-consumption and superflous waste.
